Ruby Rose is an Australian-born model, TV presenter and singer. In an interview with Inked magazine, Ruby stated that she got her first tattoo, a 'tramp stamp' of a rose, when she was 16.
As is often the case with ink addicts, many of Ruby's tattoos celebrate events in her life or in her family's history, such as her engagement to Phoebe Dahl, or her grandfather's career as a famous boxer (Ruby has a pair of boxing gloves tattooed on her back).

After hosting a MTV show in London in 2008, Ruby hit the town with The Veronicas and wanted to commemorate a successful evening. They ended up at a tattoo 'parlour' in King’s Cross, where the tattoo artist had also enjoyed a few drinks. The result was the three playing cards on Ruby's chest, which she has since had re-done. Ruby has also said her most painful tattoo was having the word 'meow' inked onto the inside of her lips.
