I think The Maze Runner had a few moments where the script slipped out of character (not the actors) so some of the phrases didn't fit the atmosphere of the story, which was kind of disappointing. Overall it was a great film and they are doing a sequel, so I'm happy with that :)
I was kind of annoyed that they swear in Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, but I still love the series and I hope they do a sequel of that.
Oh! And Star Trek. They need to do a sequel to Into Darkness.
This is going to sound a little weird considering there have already been 2 sequels, and neither of them were as good as the original, but I'm going to go with The Matrix.
I actually didn't think the 2 sequels (Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions) were as bad as critics suggested, but I think they came out too soon after the first movie, and both were released in 2003 apparently, so there's a suggestion they may have rushed into them to cash in on the hype following the original.
Either way, I think the storyline could have been developed a little more. The sequels seemed kind of disjointed and a bit confusing...
Interestingly, while researching this answer I found out that there is technically a sequel to The Matrix trilogy. It comes in the form of a video game called The Matrix Online. I haven't played it yet, but I'm not sure it lives up to the expectations I have.
