I've never watched that movie (Is it even out?) but it looks very, very funny and interesting. With the little knowledge of the movie's story I have, I cannot say for sure that it would be good to have a sequel. It definitely would attract many people, if not more, than the first. But then again, there is the speculation that making sequels for a really good movie will sully the first movie, much like Grown Ups 1 and 2... I personally didn't like the first movie and I don't think the second movie did it justice.

Ultimately, it is up to production to decide whether a sequel is worth it. (Or so I'd like to think)

I'd personally be intrigued to see what the sequel to The Wedding Singer would be like - although in general sequels seem to be a bad idea.

I struggle to think of many sequels that came anywhere close to the original.

Having said that, I'm currently enjoying Better Call Saul on Netflix, and I thought nothing could ever compare to Breaking Bad.

On the other hand, I have also been let down by many sequels in the past.

I liked Kill Bill 2, but it was nowhere near as good as Kill Bill 1.

Same goes for The Matrix Revolutions and The Matrix Reloaded - they seemed like "add-ons" that were created far too quickly, and with disjointed storylines.

However, the worst sequel I've ever seen was The Butterfly Effect 2. I liked the first movie quite a lot (despite Ashton Kutcher), so I couldn't believe it when a sequel hit TV.

I don't think I made it through the first 30mins...

Anyway, as far as The Wedding Singer is concerned, I'd be interested even if purely to see what Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore look like these days... It seems like a long time since I've seen a movie with either of them in it!
