That's what it will be today for me. I'm so looking forward to my pecan and brown sugar glazed ham later!

I don't shop on Black Friday.  I stare terrified at the turkey carcass that is taking valuable real estate in my refrigerator.  My husband isn't a turkey sandwich kind of guy and my kids have tiny appetites.

I cooked up the gizzards for my cat.  Super excited was she.

I have no leftovers. The only thing I made this year was an apple pie, and since I had to leave my brother's early to go to my mother-in-law's, it stayed there. We are having chli today. (And probably tomorrow, too.)

I am not big on turkey and in the past when it was just my husband and me because we lived so far from our families, I would get a small turkey breast. The next day I would make a casserole with mashed potatoes on the bottom, then a layer of turkey, a layer of green beans casserole, and then a layer of stuffing, with a little gravy to keep it moist and then bake it. We would eat that for a day or two.

That's a good one! And also I'd rather say "Freaking Friday"! "Wild Friday" or "Sabotage time" . . . .!! Lol!

Nah ... Leftovers for my (large, extended) family usually lasts a month.

Though I heard a suggestion from an economist on NPR this morning, that due to internet sales and "early" starts on Black Friday ... It should be called "Grey November" or something.

IMO, that just reinforces how dreary November is, though.  LOL
