I'm, gonna go with Angela and say too many. Like Angela I'll pick the one that affected me the most. Cry Freedom!  the story of Steve Biko.

We watched it with friends one New Years Eve prior to going on to a club. We were all so flattened at the end of the movie that we just went home.

My goodness! It's a torture ! There are so many movies that deserve to be mentioned! Just imagine you asking one movie means (Series-movies) like The lord of the rings, Resident Evil,Fast and furious and Saw must be ignored!  How many amazing actors, actresses and screen-writers are out there ? Robert De Niro! Al Pacino! Keanu Reeves. Will Smith, Samuel Jackson, John Travolta, Anne Hathaway, Milla Jovovich, Kiefer Sutherland! And many more! Quentin Tarantino and Christopher Nolan! Or J.J Abraham!

I would name Christopher Nolan's Interstellar !

I absolutely love interstellar.  It's not just some nerdy sci-fi.  (I'm in to those too, though! 😜)  And It's almos more of a drama than a sci-if.  All time favorite movie, followed by Forrest Gump.

My favorite movie is Cloud Atlas! The book was amazing and I thought the movie version was great! It may take a few times watching it in order to fully understand what's going on (or just read the book) but it's definitely worth it in my opinion!

I also really like science fiction movies in general like Interstellar, Ex Machina, Minority Report, The Matrix (the first one, the other movies were meh), The Martian, Gattaca, and such.

Anything by Studio Ghibli from Japan is usually pretty good. Yes, they are anime but they are visually stunning and captivating. Actually a lot of anime are really good but are underrated such as Summer Wars and Paprika.

Also if you're ever in the mood for rom-coms or dramas or all the other genres I didn't mention, I liked watching Letters to Juliet, Marley and Me, Forrest Gump, and Stardust.
