The song Landslide was originally recorded in 1975 by Fleetwood Mac, but the Dixie Chicks covered it in 2002 on their album Home. The Smashing Pumpkins also covered Landslide as a B-side to their 1994 single, Disarm. Lyrics to Landslide by the Dixie Chicks

I took my love and I took it down I climbed a mountain and I turned around And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills Well the landslide brought me down Oh, mirror in the sky What is love Can the child within my heart rise above Can I sail thru the changing ocean tides Can I handle the seasons of my life Well, I've been afraid of changing 'cause I built my life around you But time makes you bolder Children get older I'm getting older too Well... Well, I've been afraid of changing 'cause I built my life around you But time makes you bolder Children get older I'm getting older, too Well I'm getting older too So, take this love and take it down Year and if you climb a mountain and ya turn around And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills Well the landslide brought me down And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills Well maybe Well maybe Well maybe the landslide will bring you down

The American Country Music Trio, Dixie Chicks covered the song 'Landslide' - originally by Stevie Nicks, an American singer and songwriter. The song was written when Stevie Nicks was a member of Fleetwood Mac back in 1975.

The song is about a woman who is saying that her kids have grown up and she is getting older too. She is thinking of letting go of her lover for that matter. She is really confused about what to do.

The song was featured in the 'Home' album of Dixie Chicks in 2002. Many other artists have covered this song such as, Joey McIntyre, Sheryl Crow and John Frusciante of Red Hot Chili Peppers.
