Is There Going To Be A Orphan 2?

I think they should make an orphan 2 because part 1 was soo awesome !!!  Part 2 should be about esther coming bak to life and maybe finshing her revenge by killing kate and dannie or she should start over and go to a orphange and try to seduce an other guy and kill his family

I think they should do a prequel...about Esther's childhood, her time in the mental asylum and about that other family she killed. Also how she escaped the asylum. There was plenty of stuff about the story that hasn't been told which would make a great film. The idea of her coming back to life for the sequel sounds rubbish to me though!

Yes she is alive, at the end of the film she appears in her room full of cuts on her face looking at the mirror smiling, I think is going to be an Orphan 2 :)

     at the end when she is putting make-up on that is the deleted ending you can even check if you rent the dvd and in an interview with the director he said there could be a second one because they say she comes out of the water when everyone leaves and max is grown-up in the next one

I think there will be a orphan 2 ,  katie says that esther is in the pond they will go and see that her body is not there and her face will be in shock. But then about 1 or 2 years later when everything seems okay max gets kidnapped by esther and she leaves a note saying come to me and bring daniel if you want max back alive. Then esther will trap them in like a motel room and attempt to kill them but the police come in time to stop her but it was to late for daniel.

But If that was the "chilling ending" showing her cuts and everything with the po po @ the house bc of the dad and everything that happened. So maybe she didnt die. Just faked it and came out the water and came into her room and put on the kid clothing so she looked all innocent and like a child that was hurt, maybe another set up for the mother? I don't know. But if there is an Orpahn 2 I'm going to see I, and think about maybe shes trying to make her "mom" go to jail or something

Well..she's not a ghost trapped anywhere!..she's a 33 year old woman, that happens to suffer from some kind of dwarfism!..and yes there will be a prequel and a sequel...and yes! Esther does die in that pond!..

Well I just loved that movie it was so good I hope there is another orphan we have 2 find out what happens with the Daniel and what is going to happen with the dad and what is going to happen with the mom lots of unawnsered events there but so sorry I can not awnser that question but just because someone says there is going to be an orphan 2 don't beleive them they r probably just board

Do any of you have any idea how many movies have sequels to them after the main character was killed? How do you know she didn't have a twin,?  Lots could be built off of that story it just takes imagination, which some of you obviously lack.

There probably isn't going to be an Orphan 2, no she didnt come back to life, and yes it was like a disease that made her look younger, the part with the scars on her face is the ALTERNATE ENDING, Esther died at the end of Orphan, she didnt 'come back to life' or anything, it was the alternate ending.

If you want to know what happened to daniel john says when kate gets drugged in the hospital don't worry about daniel he'll be ok and the alternate ending wasnt the real ending if there was an orphan two it should be about max turning evil lol

I'm already thinking about orphan 2 but when I'm at home I mind write orphan2 so please go to you tube and type in this : Make an Orphan 2 it show a video about how the story should be for the film.

In orphan 2 there should be esther but she goes to different family because the dads already dead and the brother sister and mom have seen her evil side already so they wouldnt let her near the house. Because       you can see her hand so she still alive!!! :)

Actually esther was supposed to die .the ending when she is still alive was an alternate ending. But they so should make an orphan 2 they could start it at the bottom of the pond where she "died" and then suddenly her eyes open and she goes back for revenge but she keeps it anonymous untill like the end where her mother figures it out

I think there should be an orphan 2 and this is how I think it should go( the mom and daughter move to anouther house and new people move ing ofcourse and the orphan haunts that house and while she is somone walks by the ice and slips in they find the body and thats all I can think of

Yes there is going to be orphan 2 because I saw the movie at least 3 times in one month and after when she was having that fight in the fight sceen of the last half of that fight when she was only kicked in the face it was just a cauntion through her cheak bone in the face that was it because she did make it out of the warter after when kate and her daughter went to the last shot of going to the police in that last sceen of that movie I know this because my home doctor that I go to a lot when I was sick for like 10 days streight after having emona I never knew that watching this movie will declare all that by getting out on time when eshter would of had pushed the bone back from her face when she had did it the frist time when she did it to her self from that bruze on her arm and I just know that orphan 2 will come out this octber this year 2 weeks befor this coming up halloween 20010 and can't wait to see it it will have to go through film filia to see the sequal sceen where they left off and through wikipedia and on you tube so lets waite and see if their going to come up with the details on the release date by then...?

She did not come back alive, but you can see her moving in the pond near the end. So she was never dead. And she wasnt a ghost trapped in a childs body she had a rare hormonal disease

I hope so because I love the first one and they could come up with a great storyline

Guys, she could be alive very well. However, there has been NO MENTION OF A SEQUEL. I'm pretty sure those who claim that the filmmakers said otherwise are flat-out lying. Isabelle Fuhrman shot down any questions about a sequel.

Look if you bought the movie and watched (deleted seens and extened ending) she don't die at the end she goes bak to the house dresses as a girl and goes down to the cops and says (Hey my names Ester) so there should be a number 2 HOPEFULLY!!
