Need Name Of Specific Movie, How Can I Find It?

Please can someone tell me the name of a film about a college grad who takes off around the US exploring and finding out about himself.  He goes canoeing and ends up in Mexico.  Then goes into the wilds, but ends up eating berries that posion him and he is killed.  It is a true story.  MAny thanks.

Years ago I saw a movie about a poor girl who likes to marry poor men. The only problem is that they then become rich (which is the last thing she wants) and then die in some kind of crazy accident. She gets married to an artist, a guy that strikes oil, etc. Does anyone know the movie? I think it was from the 60's.

I need to find a title of a movie which was based on a university professor taking a sabbatical leave from his job to investigate ordinary people's life. While he tries different jobs, finally he meet a waitress when he is working as a cook. At the end he goes back to his profession and also marries the waitress.

Sorry, I am pretty good at naming movies, its another hobby. The only idea is to post it on the horror side, if it was horror. Ex. Lots of blood, dismembered parts, and seanes of torture. I saw parts of a movie recently in a salon. I believe it was on starz. It was about a man who jumped or fell off a bridge and his son kidnapped the police officer (female ) that was involved.
The son has the internet count up watching her get killed and at the end she shot him numerous times. The end of the movie shows her showing her badge to the camera.
