Is "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked" A Remake?

I swear I heard it when I was way younger as well.  I think it was a woman singing it.  There are "familiar" lyrics in it, I agree.  If I do find out, I will post.  Sounds like it may be from the 70's, or 80's?  Lol.

I have the same question. I could swear it is however my search results return nothing but cage the elephant. We may never know.
