Dean Martin's son died in the year 1987. He passed away in a plane accident when he was in air with the 'Air National Guard'. His sons name was Dean Paul Martin.

After the death of his son, Dean Martins career slowly began going down hill. He used to look lost on stage during shows. It was said that he was sick with the Alzheimer's disease. He was suggested that a surgery could prolong his life as he was also suffering from lung cancer, he declined.

Dean had just lost his will after the Death of his son Dean JR. Dean Martin was a very famous actor and a singe. He passed on the morning of 25th December 1995 due to a respiratory failure.
