He's alive and has a son -- he mentioned this in the commentary on the DVD release of "Small  Wonder."

Jerry Supiran is a former American child actor. He is best known for his role as Jamie Lawson in the hit 1980's American situation comedy Small Wonder (Metromedia Fox, September 7, 1985 to February 9, 1989). He was born on March 21, 1973 in Arcadia, California. Supiran's current status is not known. He made guest appearances in about 20 television shows and movies as a child actor between 1980 and 1988. These include Little House on the Prairie, Mr. Belvedere, Newhart, Archie Bunker's Place, Love Thy Neighbour, Policewoman Centrefold and Uncommon Valour.

While Supiran was described as a mischievous tyke on the sets of Small Wonder (which a critic labelled as one of the worst television shows of all time), his alleged involvement with the band Smashing Pumpkins (an electronic media report insinuated that he was actually Billy Corgan, a member of the Smashing Pumpkins) has been the subject of widespread rumours on the Internet. It has been rumoured that he was one of the roadies (travelling technicians) for the band Alice in Chains.

He died at the age of 21 from a heart murmur failure. He also had an alcohol problem which made his illness worst. At the age of 18, he had a baby boy. In other words, he left behind a child. He died on May 16, 1994.

I believe that he'd died at the age of 21 on May 16, 1994. He had a baby boy at the age of 18, which he'd left behind. I believe that he died of a heart murmur failure and with his alcohol problem, it had made all matters worse.
