The popular British singer cum song writer Kate Bush is known as much for her innovative brand of music as for her eccentric lifestyle; she is known for her reclusive nature especially when she is in the process of putting together an album. She and her partner Danny McIntosh, who is also the guitarist in her group, have a son named Albert born in 1998.
She withdrew from active work and took a long break after the birth of her son to give more time to rearing her son; she released her next album, Aerial after a gap of more than 12 years in November 2005. She did not make the birth of her son public and it was only after two years that the news became known; Bush in later interviews has explicitly stated that she has enjoyed the experience of rearing her son but would certainly continue with singing and song writing.
