If I come to think of it, you could just as well use the windows sound
recorder from your accessories menu to record Spotify songs. I don't
actually recommend using that instead of a Spotify Music Ripper, of
course, because that sound recorder only has  a couple of basic
features and will most likely annoy you, rather than help you with your
problem with ripping Spotify music but at least it's a start.

I don't really recommend using the windows sound recorder to record Spotify music streaming, that app is just for fun not for being used as a Spotify Music Ripper. I am pretty sure the quality of the recordings you would get after ripping Spotify tracks with it is not good at all, plus you don't get any advanced options for recording and converting Spotify songs to whatever file format you need for the devices on which you intend to listen to your freshly ripped Spotify tracks, as already mentioned by the guy above me.
Get yourself an advanced Spotify Music Ripper and don't waste your time with this sort of apps cause you won't get too far with ripping Spotify tracks this way.

I think you should take a look at orbit downloader, I am not sure if it works to record Spotify music, but I know it works to save Pandora music and also to record and save music from many other websites. You CAN record music from spotify. All you need is a recorder like audials one. There is a free demo which lets you record 25 songs from spotify. Unfortunately after the 25 free songs you have to purchase programme. This is the only free programme I have found so far b if anyone finds one it would be nice to know cause recording through your sound card is using a ripper is very much possible as I have done it. The best option to save Spotify music on your pc is to buy it. There is no Spotify Music Ripper and there is no way to rip Spotify tracks. All you can do is to buy it. No offense, but Spotify is a streaming online music website and its files are encrypted somehow, so you cannot record Spotify songs. Or you could search for another music website where you can download music from. I guess it would be easier, because you could download music with firefox add-ons and you don't need to search for a special downloading tool for that site, as you said about Spotify Music Ripper.
