Who was your favorite Britpop band, Oasis or Blur?

I think this is an interesting question. The two get compared a lot for appearing in the same genre and era of music, however, as two personal favourites of mine, I would say their music was still very different to one another. The sounds that both bands achieved were amazing, but not as easily compared as you would think. I think in terms of who created the most  amount of recognisable hits, you would say Oasis, because in present times Oasis has more coverage than Blur, but there's no getting away from amazing records such as 'Parklife' and 'Girls and Boys'. Personally I would say Blur, however I think in the majority, Oasis were the Britpop band of choice of the nation, and deservedly so.
