I have to admit, I really like Coldplay and OneRepublic. I also really love Creedence Clearwater Revival, even though they were band back in the late 1960s.

I guess you can say that I also like Owl City, Imagine Dragons, Green Day, CNBlue (Korean boy band), Girls Generation (Korean girl group), SHINee (another Korean boy group), P!ink, and Maroon 5.

Sometimes I also listen to One Direction, Taylor Swift Justin Bieber, Jesse McCartney, Bruno Mars, and Austin Mahone, but that's only when I feel like crap because their songs are catchy and their lyrics are either uplifting or suit my crappy mood.

I don't know if you'd consider him an artist (he's more of a composer), but I love listening to and playing music by Dvorak! In my opinion, he's an excellent composer and one of the best of all time! I also enjoy listening to and playing music by Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Bach, sometimes Vivaldi (although his repetitions can get annoying), and occasionally Brahms (when he's not being evil in his music by making you shift from first position to like seventh. If you don't know what that means, that's okay; it's a string player thing). And since I'm a violist (in other words, I play viola), I have to of course appreciate Telemann, Hoffmeister, Bloch, Stamitz, and Alessandro Rolla.

Imagine Dragons is great, they sound a lot like Coldplay too. :)

I agree, they do! I think I would like Imagine Dragons more only if I could get more of their albums/songs.

I've hit a bit of a "lull" in my music listening recently. I'm a bit bored of all the stuff I used to listen to - and nothing new out there inspires me that much.

I've always been into a wide variety of music, everything from dark and industrial sounding bands like Nine Inch Nails through to hyper and dancey sounds of the UK Hard House scene...

These days though, I sort of get a catchy tune stuck in my head, and then I'll listen to it on repeat until I can't stand it anymore!

Here's a few tracks I'm looping over and over at the moment:

Crystal Castles - Vanished

DOM - Living in America

Father John Misty - Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings

I also like to listen to a random mix of everything from Johnny Cash, Stacy Q and The Cure, through to Taylor Swift and random K-pop just to keep things interesting!

I know that feeling...

One rare album I really enjoyed by a current band is An Awesome Wave by Alt-J. It's got a couple of tracks that I liked instantly, and most of the rest of them turned out to be "growers".

I would describe it as eclectic indie, sometimes leaning towards folk. It won last year's Mercury Award, which is how I heard of them (I wish I could say I knew them before they were famous, but I didn't!).
