What is the scariest movie you've ever seen? I've watched The Exorcist, Conjuring, Mama, and a lot other horror movies, but I've found them all boring. Give me some ideas?

I don't typically spend my time on scary/horror movies. They don't really scare me, however, I've seen Chernobyl Diaries, Signs, and The Others. I prefer the action or SiFi genre, personally, but perhaps you will like one these. Best of luck to you!

Ya gotta go old school! Halloween, Friday the 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I liked the first two of Saw series....I don't watch horror anymore, just don't like it!

I love movies that scare me because they are creepy. It's what you don't see, that's freaky. I'm tired of the jump scares, and gore. I like things that stay with me for awhile. I find almost all Japanese horror flicks very creepy.

I found Midnight Meat Train a really good movie by a Japanese director. It's gory, but a really good story. It stars Bradley Cooper.

You could also go old school when you had to actually act to scare people. One would be Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

The old Cryptkeeper tales were scary.

But the scariest show I ever watched ... Live coverage of our Congress in action.

There's an era of horror films in the 70's that was taking the stuff pretty far out there.

These films were phased out with movies like the first "Halloween" or " Freddy Krueger ".

I like what Rob Zombie did with his films.  But he began having issues with getting his movies even a passable "R" rating.  They were not being graded on language or gore, but by the intensity of the content.  His point of view was that a horror movie should be intense.
