Good old rock and roll. Soft, hard, heavy metal, I love it all. I grew up listening to rock from it's beginnings.
Rock by far. I also enjoy Jazz and Classical music too....mostly live though.

With some exceptions, I mostly enjoy music with lyrics that make sense to me.
Probably because my ADHD makes my unfocused attention span relatively short unless I get "hooked" into the song somehow.
I seldom listen to music---it's never just " on in the background."
If I'm not listening to traffic or news when driving; and I keep the radio on, I will usually punch the one country and western station I have preselected.
classic rock
motown like the supremes
pearljam allanis morrisette
adele
Standards from the 40's on up, early rock and roll, ballads, folk & country. I also enjoy classical. All of them have been the background music of my life.
Canadian ska !!! Why ? Cos awesome :p
1. Rock
2. Jazz
3. Classical
Why? Because I'm not being forced by the before-mentioned genre to listen to people talk about the hood, ghetto, guns, murder or killing the poo poo. As far as "real love", there's a little wiggle room for that.
I listen to lots of genres randomly but my top favorite is Rock- metal and then good old jazz!!
Nothing beats rock! (which it converts in several genres by itself) there's few rock genres that i can't stand at all for instance (progressive rock) but love Rock itself, alternative rock, metal (which one side of it is part of rock) , Nu metal, electronic rock, ect . . .
I can't find any emotion that i find with rock! Grew with it and absorbed past and present! From Nirvana and Pearl Jam and AC/DC to Evanescence, Breaking benjamin,Disturbed, halestorm, ect . .
After all, my true favorite genre is ♥ L i N k I n P a R k ♥
LP is not just rock, it's creativity of music.
I like Pop and dancey stuff, and maybe a bit of R&B like Destiny's Child.
i like music that is just fun and uplifting.
Electronica and indie are my favorite genres. I don't know why--they just sound the best to me. With electronica, it's all about the variety of sounds that can be produced by synthesizers. With indie, I love the simplicity of much of the music and the pleasant sound of the singers voices (usually a bit softer).
60s-80s classic rock and metal (mostly Metallica, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Queen, Rainbow, and Pink Floyd), some Japanese rock songs once in a while, and maybe some modern rock and metal... I also listen to classical music every now and again!
It depends on my mood, sometimes I listen the rock, country and even rap too, but I rarely like it, normally I prefer the classical music that are soft and relaxing, as after the work, listening to a relaxing one is good for the mind.
My favourite genre of music is classical music because when I listen it I rest :) Calm, relax and inspirational. I love it :)
pop music
I love Jazz and Rock because I feel awesome while listening.
I don't have a favourite genres of music. This is because I listen to all kind of music, as long as the rhythm and lyrics are catchy and created with pure talent.
Commercial, Pop, Rock, RnB, Classic, House, Electronic... It doesn't really matter. I'm looking for style and music made with taste!
