Music can truly be fodder for your soul. Type of music in particular would not only differ individually but also for the current state of that person. For instance, often only soulful stirring music will do yet at others you just wish for funky upbeat music.

At times, for instance, I crave for sentimental, sappy love songs no matter if I have just broken up with my partner. It ultimately depends on your mood/state of mind. Classical music somehow feels uplifting no matter what time of day.

A little dose of jazz or blues can always set a mellow mood. Music therapy is another field slowly gaining research and interest. In some documented cases mental illness, chiefly melancholia has been treated via music therapy.

I'm constantly influenced by music. It's a major mood changer. When I'm feeling low I can play happy, uplifting music.

It doesn't take much for me to tap along to a beat or whistle to a tune.

Also chilled out music really assists stress relief and winding down after a day at work.
