Abba is a Swedish pop group formed in the year 1972. Agnetha Faltskog, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Anderson and Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstand were the members of the band. They got their name ABBA after taking the first letter of each band member's names.
The group topped world wide charts from the Mid-Seventies to Early Eighties. They remain a regular feature on radio play lists and sell around 3300 records through out the world daily. It is predicted that from the beginning of mid- seventies the group has sold more the 350 million records but no one knows the exact figures even EMI in London is not able to tell the exact amount of records sold by ABBA. "Dancing Queen" from the album "Arrival" is the biggest hit recorded by ABBA. In 1982 ABBA decided to take a "Break" as they started to pursue different projects. To this day they are still on a "Break". ABBA never formally announced the end of the group but it is highly unlikely that they will ever make a come back considering the years passed by.
