Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby was a well known American singer and actor born on May 3rd 1903 who's career lasted from 1926 until his death in 1977. He was one of the most famous artists of 20th century.
Bing recorded over 1700 tracks for commercial release starting from 1926 and ending in 1977. Bings records have sold in hundred of millions around the world and released on many different labels and many different combinations that even the record industry seems to have lost track of his total number of sales.
Some of his tracks have been released around 60 years ago and are still going strong. He bagged 23 gold records in his career. He sang around four Oscar award winning tracks "Sweet Leilani"(1937), "White Christmas"(1942), "Swinging on a Star" (1944) and "In the Cool, Cool, Cool, of the Evening" (1951). During his acting career he won the best actor Academy award for his performance in the movie Going My Way (1944).
