The lead singer of Radiohead is Thom Yorke. His full name is Thomas Edward York and he was born in the year 1969 in Wellingborough in England. Yorke got his first guitar when he was seven years old and by the time he was ten, he was already a part of a band. It was during his time at the Abingdon School that he became friends with Ed O'Brien, Colin Greenwood, Phil Selway and Jonny, Colin's younger brother, all of whom would later become his Radiohead band members. He plays the acoustic guitar, the electric guitar as well as the piano. For some of the band's recording sessions he has also played the bass guitar and the drums. Yorke's latest release is his solo album titled The Eraser which was released in July 2006. Most of the lyrics to his music are inspired by real life incidents.
I've got to say I think Bernard Fanning sounds a lot like this Thom guy in some of his tracks?? Am I insane?
