Kendall Schmidt, born November 2nd 1990, is best known for playing Kendall Knight, a 16 year old hockey player from Minnesota, in the hit Nickelodeon live-action show, Big Time Rush. He has also played smalle roles in different TV programmes such as ER, Frasier and Without A Trace. Schmidt was also in a band called Hefforn Drive with fellow singer actor, Dustin Belt.
He started his career at the tender age of 6, appearing on a Chex commercial. When he was 10 years old, he was picked to be Haley Joel Osment’s stand-in and body double in the Steven Speilberg film, A.I. Artificial Intelligence. In mid 2009, Schmidt was cast in the Nickelodeon series, Big Time Rush, as one of four of the main characters. The show premiered to a record breaking 7.1 million viewers, making it the highest rated premier for a live action series in Nickelodeon history.
