Tupac Amaru Shakur born on June 16th, 1971, basically was an American rap artist. He is commonly referred as 2Pac, Makaveli and Pac. Tupac has been inducted in the Guinness Book of World Records as the top-selling hip-hop artist ever. Tupac has sold a record seventy three million records across the globe, which includes 44.5 million sales in the US alone.
Nearly all of Shakur's songs are based on growing up around violence and the hardships faced in the ghettos. His songs also had an influence of other problems which he faced like racism, problem in the society and disputes with other rappers. Shakurs music is quiet famous for it's political, economic and messages on racial equality.
On September 7th, 1996 at around 11:15 pm, Tupac's car stopped at East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, where Shakur was shot by four rounds of gun fire. Two rounds hit him straight in the chest and one each in the thigh and arm. Shakur was rushed to University Medical Center where he was kept on life support but eventually died after six days on September 13th, 1996.
