What Will Gary Coleman Be Best Remembered For?

Hi Keith.He'll be remembered mostly for "different Strokes".
I couldn't wait to get home and watch it.

It would best to remember him as he was in the TV show, Diff'ent Strokes.   He was AWESOME in that show.  I didn't hear about his untimely death until this morning. I was SHOCKED !!

What choo talkin bout willis!!!!.bringing awareness to kidney failure.cartoon voices.being in everyones(almost everyones)home on the boob tube.being a trip/funny.and probably for hopping on the hood of a car as a security guard when he fell on hard times.funny how hollywood forgets them(actors)when they can no longer act because of health problems. I wonder where hollywoods health program was/is/or will be in the future for members of the screen actors guild.i guess you could say gary will also be the face of how health care even fails the rich and famous.i just found out his own agent and family spent over 19 million of his money earned while being arnold.basically embezzling all of it.this money was suppose to be put in a trust for him for when he became of legal age. What is really messed up is he had to go back to working as a guard just to make it while the people that made money off him were still living off his royalties he should have been receiving.blah blah blah(means i could drone on and on)

Being a one time California governor hopeful in the 2003 recall election, and having successfully completed the big transition we eventually will all have to face. His troubled life is finalized.

Be remembered for his wit and humour, also for being a very nice young man, he had a lot of problems later in life, but they were down to the Media trying to invade into his privacy.

For his role in Different strokes i guess. Later in life he was so angry & bitter but had so much reason to be due to the media & peoples lack of understanding. We read the tabloids & get one side of things forgetting there is two. He had a rough time towards the end. May he rest in eternal peace.

I think for a lot, they might not want to admit it, he will always be "oh you mean that short guy?".
But at least he did the most with what he was given, lived longer than they ever thought he would when he was younger - and for better or worse brought a lot of laughter to the people who saw him. Sometimes it was laughing with him, at him or about him.
I personally will always remember him for his one time appearance on the Simpsons years ago.

A tortured soul. Battling sickness all of his life while others got rich off of his success. He was a somewhat angry man, with good cause I might add, but he should teach you to do the best with what you have been given.
