How did Eivin Kilcher meet his wife Eve?

Eve grew up living close by to the Kilcher family, and Eve and Eivin were childhood friends. They are now husband and wife. That is a true love story out in the Alaskan wilderness if you ask me.

As for when they first met, it is undocumented, but I guess they must have been very, very young as the two clans they come from have inhabited Homer, Alaska for decades.

Eivin and Eve now have a baby together: a little boy called Findley, and they seem very happy together.

Goes to show that dating and multiple relationships isn't really the best way to go. Often true love can grow between two people when they share common interests and a common background - as is exactly the case between Eivin and Eve.
