Hi, I saw that, I'm not watching it. It's now become meaningless, because those police know what's going on and they haven't rooted out the problems. Now it just for ratings, because the first one have high rating.

Yes, I totally agree. I can't imagine how they think that no one will find out now they've already had season 1. You can't make it a mystery now.

Exactly again the staff know drugs are being smuggled in and they've got an excellent idea who the Smugglers-Staff-Officers-Prisoners Families are and yet those people haven't been fired and now they're putting on another show.

Cops, Alaska State Troopers, Survivorman. The first two depict the daily lives of some law enforcement people and Les Stroud on Survivorman shows many things that can save a persons life if they were stranded somewhere.

Cops, etc are the real reality shows. Nothing is scripted, changed or set up. What you see is what's really happening. All the other shows are scripted junk.

I don't think so ! I've watched bits and pieces of some of them and they are a joke to me. Like "Naked and Afraid" ! It's all about the money as usual. Some people will watch anything and believe it.

Your mention of the drugs being destroyed brought back an old memory. The county I live in is heavily wooded and wildfires are a concern. Since the fire pit was next to a state forest, The sheriff's dept. used to make announcements in the local papers when they were going to burn any seized marijuana. It was so the Dept. of Forestry wouldn't be inundated with reports of a wild fire. They had to stop announcing them because people were going out trying to get a contact buzz. In the late 70s or early 80s they finally invested in a proper incinerator.

I used to get a lot from House Hunters. It gave me ideas of was out there in other markets It also gave me ideas features I might want. I have also sold a few homes and it helped me to give me an idea where to put money for a quick sale.

If you consider being able to laugh at stupid people and feel better about your own life a benefit, then yes. :P

But really, the consumption of media can be difficult to construe as "valuable" in the first place.

I enjoy Dr. Dee, Alaska Vet.  She got her pilot license so that she can go into remote areas and treat a very interesting variety of animals.

Dear Zack,

I had a TV this winter in my little cottage on Olequa Creek in Washington State, and I for some reason took delight in TLC Say Yes To The Dress!           I thought it had a homely philosophy, art, human relations, drama...on and on...

For one that has value however, I might say the same channel TLC, their series on The Hoarders. I have two friends like that, it is lots of suffering you would not expect, and maybe good for the public to become more aware... really an addiction.
