Helen Folasade Adu, popularly known as Sade is a British singer. She is also a composer, song writer and producer. She rose to fame when she became the vocalist of the band Sade. Sade was born is Nigeria on 16th January, 1959. She attended a three year course in fashion and also founded a company. She started singing in 1980’s and is active today at the age of 50 years. She is alive. Her band released an album in 2000 and one is expected to be released in 2009.
