Songwriting is all about patience. And just like any creative process, you may only get bouts of inspiration sporadically - some days you may be able to write a song in 10 minutes and others it could take ten months!

Unfortunately this is the nature of the beast, and the most important thing is not to give up, even when you think you're all out of creative juice!

 Some helpful tips for songwriting
If you're new to this then hopefully you'll find these tips helpful:

  • Learn your instrument well and learn plenty of songs in the style and genre you're looking to write in. This will help you pick-up the norms of the genre, which should make the songwriting process easier.
  • You'll have to look into musical theory. Scales, chords and keys will determine how 'melodic' and catchy your song may sound. A good knowledge of musical theory will also improve your practical playing.
  • Listen to plenty of music. Inspiration comes in many shapes and sizes, but listening to a wide range of different music should help when it comes to writing your very own songs.
  • And the most important tip of all - don't rush it! Rome wasn't built in a day, so don't expect to be able to write a masterpiece straight away. Songwriting is just like any other art - the more you practice the better you will become at it.

There's no 'right' way of composing a song - if you're in a band, it's often a team effort - the guitarist will work on the riff, the drummer on the percussion, and you can decide amongst yourselves what you want the song to be about. If you're working alone, however, you've got a lot more to think about!

Where to Start?

In my opinion, the melody or theme of the song is the best place to start. If you've got an idea for the mood or tone of the song, the melody might follow - or vice versa. The most important thing to figure out is what your song is about, or what it's trying to communicate.

The song will probably sound better if you write the lyrics afterwards, rather than trying to fit the music around the words. Experiment, and see what works for you - practice makes perfect, and it'll get easier each time!

Just start by putting words on paper. Even if they don't rhyme and have no meter or rhythm, just get them out.

Then start to work them into a melody. As you rework the words into a poem-like structure, it's easier to find the melody. Some people create a melody and just add words to it as they go along. Browse easysongwriting.net and learn from the full time songwriters there.

I still can't understand like how to get the write title, words, and good melody.

Every time I come up with a good title, it is either taken or I can't find good words to go with it.

Well you want to write a song.

So, first of all, you should write some words so you've got the lyrics down. The composition of the wording is very important in the songs so when you will write the good wording then you will be able to write up a good song. The second thing which is very important in writing up a song is the composition of the theme of the songs. So when you will write up the theme of the song then you will be able to make the melodious theme.

So this is a good way to make the themes for your business. So there are many guide books which you can use in order to write up the songs. You can take the reference from the books so that you will be able to write a good song. In any song writing you have to think in that way if you are looking for the love music you need to put your feeling in the wording which can show the feelings in the songs.

The main thing you need to do first is write the title. If you don't have a song title, you will get lost in your song and have no idea what your writting next. From there you should think of a melody and lyrics that link together and make sense I hope that helps
