May Fung Yee Pang who was born on October 24, 1950, was John Lennon's lover for a year and a half. They however had an off-and-on relationship that spanned a ten-year period from 1970 to 1980, and was at times platonic.
When Lennon and Ono were having marital problems in the summer of 1973, Ono suggested that Pang accompany Lennon to LA as a concubine. Lennon agreed to take Pang to Los Angeles and the couple lived together at some friends' houses. According to Pang, she lived with Lennon from 1973 until 1975, and she continued to work as production coordinator for Lennon's recording projects.
