It appears that this particular gospel song comes from the album 'The Leaning Tree', one of the many excellent albums by Minister Win Thompkins and the Stompers, a family group based in Southern Florida.
Minister Win Thompkins, the third out of ten children, had a Christian upbringing in South Florida. As well as being reared within a happy, laughter and music filled home, he and his brothers used to sing in the church choir. As they grew into talented young men, they started to travel and sing their gospel music both locally and across the whole of the country.
'The Leaning Tree' is one of eight albums the group have created over the years. 'Dressing Room' is the third out of six tracks on this album, and is five minutes and 44 seconds long. This song can, by the way, be found on Napster as a single track. This is great news, as most other tracks appear to only be available as part of the complete album.
Six tracks may not seem much for a whole album, but considering that only two of the tracks are under five minutes, and the last track is a 15 minute medley, it is certainly worth listening to. Having said that, even if the tracks were shorter they would be worth it.
Unfortunately, apart from this one, it has only been possible to track six of the other seven albums, namely:
