I'm a teenage myself and music practically who I am and I don't think that by listening to a sad song makes me depressed and to be honest with you when I do feel depressed or upset about something I go to country music because to me it doesnt say, "hey this is depressing!" it says, " hey I know what you're going through and its going to be alright."
so yeah. Thats just how I personally see it.

Yes, I think it can influence teenagers because country music gives the individual hope and faith in life. It also tells them to be stronger and believe in themselves.

Country music is pure and innocent which makes listening to this type of music so soothing towards the soul.

although some of the "feel good" songs are ok, the majority of country music promotes drinking, sex, and other things we are trying to keep our young people from participating in.

The same way as any other music would. Country music, like any other music, can be positive or it can be negative. It can be depressing or uplifting. It's a matter of what songs you're listening to and what you choose to take in from them.
You can't say that A Thousand Miles from Nowhere and You Look Good in my Shirt are going to affect you the same way.

Country music has the spirit of the purity that the city has not, teenagers often listen to the country music, the heart will be quiet ,and it is beneficial for their health and development. There, country music is good for the teenagers.

I think that most country songs are made to be sad songs about the persons life. And sometimes they can make a person feel depressed.
